Dhurandhar Continues Box Office Storm, Crosses ₹470 Crore in Just 15 Days

Ranveer Singh’s latest spy thriller Dhurandhar is proving to be one of the biggest box office success stories of the year. Even after completing two full weeks in cinemas, the film is showing no signs of slowing down. On its 15th day in theatres, Dhurandhar crossed the impressive ₹470 crore mark, confirming its strong hold among audiences across the country.

The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, was released on December 5 and opened to mixed reviews from critics. However, word of mouth and strong fan support helped it gain momentum very quickly. Packed theatres, repeat viewers, and high weekend footfalls have pushed the film into the blockbuster category.

According to the latest figures shared by industry tracker Sacnilk, Dhurandhar collected around ₹11.69 crore by Friday evening. This took its total box office collection to approximately ₹472.19 crore in just 15 days. Trade experts expect the film to cross ₹480 crore by the end of the day, setting another milestone.

The film’s performance in its first week was particularly strong. It earned ₹207.25 crore in seven days, beating the Hindi version record of Pushpa 2, which had collected ₹196.50 crore in the same time frame. What surprised many observers even more was the film’s growth in the second week. Instead of slowing down, Dhurandhar collected about ₹253.25 crore in its second week, a rare achievement in today’s box office landscape.

Despite entering its third week, the film continues to attract audiences. However, it now faces fresh competition from Hollywood’s highly anticipated release Avatar: Fire and Ash. Directed by James Cameron, the film is expected to draw large crowds. All eyes are now on Dhurandhar to see whether it can maintain its strong run in the coming days.

Dhurandhar is a high-octane spy thriller set largely in Pakistan. Ranveer Singh plays the role of an Indian spy who infiltrates terror networks operating in the Lyari region. The story blends action, suspense, and emotional depth, which seems to have connected well with viewers. The film also stars R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun in key roles, adding further strength to its cast.

The movie is produced by Jio Studios, led by Jyoti Deshpande, along with Aditya and Lokesh Dhar’s B62 Studios. It is the first part of a two-film series. The story follows Ranveer’s character Hamza Ali Mazari, who is later revealed to be Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an undercover agent working deep inside enemy territory. The makers have already confirmed that the sequel is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026.

With strong collections, steady audience interest, and a sequel already announced, Dhurandhar has clearly cemented its place as one of the most successful Hindi films of 2025. Its continued performance at the box office reflects not just star power, but also the audience’s growing appetite for large-scale, story-driven action films.
