The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority recently engaged in FDIC International in the United States, marking a significant step in fortifying its global collaboration and expertise-sharing with top civil defence and firefighting bodies around the world.

FDIC International stands as one of the premier events focusing on firefighting, rescue, and emergency services, drawing experts and leaders from various countries to enhance coordination and knowledge exchange in crucial safety domains.

Throughout the event, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority successfully completed 74 advanced field training courses, attending 200 workshops and training sessions. This active participation underscores its dedication to cultivating national skills, boosting operational preparedness, and embracing the latest practices in firefighting, rescue, and emergency management.

Furthermore, the authority took part in a specially designed seminar comprising four sessions, aimed at refining emergency response capabilities and optimizing fire management strategies in mid- and high-rise structures using the newest firefighting and preventative technologies.

In conjunction with this, the authority ran a specialized training initiative focusing on enhancing leadership in emergency and incident responses. This program also facilitated the sharing of best practices in areas such as rescue operations, firefighting, emergency medical services, and civil protection.

Overall, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority reaffirmed its continuous commitment to advancing operational frameworks, fostering strategic alliances, and reinforcing institutional readiness to guarantee the safety of lives and properties throughout the emirate.
