This innovative free zone, dedicated specifically to the digital commerce industry, will debut its second edition of a forum designed to propel advancements in digital commerce and cross-border trade.

Organized by Dubai CommerCity in collaboration with WORLDEF, a global platform that fosters relationships among companies, investors, government units, and digital solution providers, the forum aims to spotlight crucial trends and opportunities in the digital commerce arena. Dubai CommerCity is a strategic partnership between DIEZ and Wasl Properties.

The forthcoming event is geared towards establishing new business avenues, enhancing collaboration, sharing invaluable insights, and emphasizing recent developments redefining the global digital commerce landscape. It also aims to bolster sustainable digital trade and broaden global market access.

Her Excellency Amna Lootah, Director General of Dubai CommerCity and Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ), highlighted the forum's significance as a testament to Dubai CommerCity's unwavering support for the global digital commerce community while solidifying Dubai's status as a premier hub for trade and digital commerce.

She noted the growing representation of participants from numerous countries reflects the solid faith in Dubai’s investment climate and advanced infrastructure. The forum will also serve as a pivotal platform enabling companies to expand internationally and forge long-lasting global partnerships, aligning with Dubai's future economic strategies.

Omer Nart, CEO of WORLDEF, remarked on the success of the first edition, which surpassed expectations in terms of participation and dynamic discussions. He expressed optimism that the upcoming forum would provide a robust agenda tailored to the needs of professionals engaged in digital commerce, international trade, and digital transformation at all levels.

The event is in alignment with Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33, aimed at boosting the city's competitiveness, enhancing its role as a smart trade center, and promoting cross-border business expansion to further the digital economy's evolution.

Following the triumph of the 2024 edition, which drew over 5,000 participants from more than 40 nations, WORLDEF Dubai 2026 anticipates significant growth. The forthcoming forum is projected to welcome 200 speakers, over 10,000 visitors from 80+ countries, 150 exhibitors, and 120 retail brands.

Key themes including artificial intelligence, advanced digital solutions, payment innovations, fintech, and logistics will be focal points, aimed at enhancing efficiency and fostering growth within the sector.

Targeting a diverse range of markets spanning the Middle East, Africa, Europe, the UK, India, and Central Asia, the forum will showcase real-case studies, investment prospects, and innovative strategies to assist companies in adapting to the swift pace of change in the global digital commerce landscape.
