During a press conference, Jung expressed profound sadness over the situation, labeling it a “horrific attack” where words fell short of encapsulating the tragedy.

Saxony's Prime Minister, Michael Kretschmer, noted possible mental health concerns regarding the suspect, while investigations remain active to fully understand the motivations behind this devastating attack.

Emergency teams swiftly coordinated a significant response. Multiple police, ambulances, and rescue units were deployed, temporarily closing surrounding roads to manage the aftermath.
