Large Pro-Palestinian Protests Break Out in Melbourne During Herzog Visit

Large pro-Palestinian demonstrations took place across parts of Melbourne during the visit of Israeli President Isaac Herzog, with thousands of protesters marching through key city areas and calling for international attention to the situation in Gaza and the wider Palestinian territories.

Crowds carrying Palestinian flags and banners gathered in central locations, chanting slogans and demanding policy changes from Western governments regarding their stance on the Israel–Palestine conflict.
