UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan spoke on the phone with António Costa, who is the President of the European Council. They talked about the friendship between the UAE and the European Union and how both sides can work together even more in the future.
During their call, they discussed an important trade deal called the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. This agreement will help both the UAE and EU grow their trade and business.
They also spoke about what is happening in the Middle East right now, especially in the Gaza Strip. Both leaders agreed that there should be a ceasefire to stop the fighting. They said it is very important to send food, medicine, and other help to the people who are suffering there.
Sheikh Mohamed and President Costa also said that there needs to be a fair and lasting peace in the region. They believe that peace can be achieved by talking to each other and finding solutions without violence. They said this will make the region and the world more stable and safe for everyone.
