DOJ Documents Uncover Trump's Eight Flights on Epstein's Jet

Post by : Mina Rahman

Recently released documents from the Department of Justice disclose that former President Donald Trump traveled on Jeffrey Epstein’s private aircraft at least eight occasions from 1993 to 1996. An internal email from January 2020 indicates that Trump’s use of Epstein’s jet was more frequent than previously reported.

The email outlines that Trump is listed on flight records for no fewer than eight journeys, which included four occasions where Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s confidante, was present. Notably, it reveals Trump traveled alongside family members including Marla Maples, Tiffany Trump, and Eric Trump.

Specific flights included one in 1993 where only Trump and Epstein were listed as passengers. Another flight included three individuals: Epstein, Trump, and a 20-year-old whose identity remains undisclosed. Two other trips featured women who could potentially be witnesses in Maxwell’s criminal proceedings.

Maxwell was convicted in 2022 for her role in sex trafficking and conspiracy involving underage individuals, receiving a 20-year prison sentence.

The DOJ noted that while some explosive allegations against Trump related to Epstein are fabricated, any credible evidence would have surfaced by now.

In response to these revelations, Trump dismissed the information as a diversion from his and his party’s achievements.

This disclosure comes on the heels of new legislation mandating the release of Epstein-related records, despite prior efforts to maintain their confidentiality.
