Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan once again showcased his unmatched sense of humor and down-to-earth charm during an online Q&A with fans ahead of his 60th birthday. The actor’s spontaneous and witty replies lit up social media, leaving fans laughing and adoring him even more.
On Thursday evening, the superstar greeted his followers with a cheerful message, saying that it had been a wonderful time filled with awards, releases, and celebrations. He invited fans to join him for a lighthearted conversation, promising “happy answers.”
Within minutes, thousands of fans joined in, asking him about upcoming films, personal moments, and even playful questions that drew hilarious replies.
The Mannat room joke that went viral
One fan shared that he had traveled to Mumbai to celebrate the actor’s birthday but couldn’t find a place to stay. He jokingly asked Shah Rukh for a room at his famous home, Mannat.
The actor’s reply was a classic: “Mannat mein toh mere paas bhi room nahi hai aaj kal… bhaade pe reh raha hoon!” (Even I don’t have a room in Mannat these days. I’m living on rent!).
His humorous take left fans in splits, with several responding with laughing emojis and follow-up jokes about his rent and landlord.
Life away from Mannat
Shah Rukh Khan and his family — Gauri, Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam — temporarily vacated Mannat earlier this year as the property undergoes large-scale renovation. The iconic Bandra bungalow is expected to be under refurbishment for some time, with the family currently staying in a nearby luxury apartment building.
Reports suggest the Khans have rented multiple floors in the new residence, maintaining privacy and comfort while Mannat gets its grand makeover.
Birthday plans and the next film
As the actor turns 60, celebrations are expected to be low-key and family-oriented. Shah Rukh is likely to mark the special day at his Alibaug farmhouse, joined by close friends and relatives.
Meanwhile, fans are buzzing with anticipation about his next film, directed by Siddharth Anand. Although earlier rumors suggested the movie was titled King, the actor clarified that no official title has been finalized yet.
The collaboration has created massive interest, especially after Shah Rukh’s blockbuster success with Pathaan and Jawan, which solidified his comeback as Bollywood’s most bankable star.
A heartfelt bond with fans
The online interaction trended for hours, with fans sharing clips and screenshots of their favorite replies. Many highlighted how Shah Rukh’s warmth and humor make him stand out in an age of scripted celebrity interactions.
Even as he completes six decades of life, Shah Rukh Khan continues to embody the essence of a true entertainer — blending intelligence, humor, and humility in every public appearance. His latest chat proved that while the world may change, his connection with fans remains as strong as ever.
