Sheikh Mohamed Engages with Sierra Leone President Bio

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, welcomed Julius Maada Bio, the President of Sierra Leone, for an official dialogue.

In their discussions, both leaders explored opportunities to fortify collaboration between the UAE and Sierra Leone. The conversation covered important sectors such as trade, investment, renewable energy, sustainability, and developmental objectives aligned with both nations’ growth aspirations.

They also underscored the significance of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement inked in February, reiterating their resolve to meet its goals and broaden economic prospects for both countries.

Additionally, the leaders stressed the importance of establishing robust development alliances aimed at fostering prosperity and enduring economic cooperation.

The two leaders reviewed recent events in the Middle East, deliberating on their repercussions for regional and global peace, and the effects on maritime navigation and the world economy.

Furthermore, President Bio vehemently condemned the recent attacks attributed to Iranian forces targeting civilians and infrastructure in the UAE and other regional nations, labeling them as violations of international law that jeopardize stability and security.
