His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Al Ain Region, met with a prominent delegation from the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), led by His Excellency Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al Ameri, Acting Director-General of the Authority.

Attended by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the discussions centered on evaluating recent developments in ADAFSA’s strategic initiatives aimed at bolstering Abu Dhabi’s agriculture, livestock, and food safety sectors.

During the audience, His Highness received insights into a variety of pivotal initiatives crafted to promote local food production, enhance the efficiency of food supply chains, and upgrade infrastructure within the agriculture and livestock domains. The delegation conveyed updates on ongoing and forthcoming projects designed to amplify productivity, increase sustainability, and secure the future resilience of the emirate’s food systems.

His Highness also examined a detailed presentation that highlighted ADAFSA's plans to fortify food safety systems, reinforce inspection and monitoring protocols, and broaden awareness programs related to food products. The presentation showcased the Authority’s commitment to driving research and innovation in agricultural development, food production, and livestock protection through the leveraging of advanced technologies and global best practices.

Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan reiterated the UAE leadership's unwavering commitment—guided by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE—to advancing agriculture, livestock, and food safety sectors due to their essential role in achieving the nation’s food security goals.

His Highness emphasized the necessity to continuously enhance these critical domains through targeted initiatives and impactful projects within a broad and sustainable framework that boosts productivity and sustains long-lasting growth.

Delegates from ADAFSA expressed their heartfelt gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his ongoing support of the Authority’s programs and initiatives, affirming ADAFSA’s dedication to advancing sustainable agricultural and food development in alignment with the vision and future aspirations of the UAE leadership.
