Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda: Engagement Reports Intensify

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda: Engagement Reports Intensify

Post by : Mina Rahman

Rashmika Mandanna, linked in reports to actor Vijay Deverakonda, intensified engagement speculation during a recent appearance on Jagapathi Babu's talk show. In promotional clips, she is shown wearing multiple rings that observers have characterised as likely engagement jewellery.

On the programme, Jagapathi Babu highlighted her apparent ties to the name "Vijay," referencing her association with Vijay Deverakonda, her regard for Vijay Sethupathi and her fandom of Thalapathy Vijay. Rashmika responded with a smile, indicating the items carried meaning and noting, "These are all very important rings."

Individuals close to the pair say the actors exchanged rings in a private ceremony on October 3, attended only by immediate family and select friends. Insiders further indicate the couple is eyeing a wedding in February 2026.

Speculation also mounted after Rashmika shared photographs in a traditional saree during Dussehra, where a visible tilak and her accompanying messages of thanks to fans for the response to the trailer and song of her forthcoming film Thamma drew attention.

Reports linking the two surfaced in early 2023 following accounts of a Maldives trip. Since then, the actors have been publicly seen together on multiple occasions, from film screenings to overseas vacations. Observers pointed to Rashmika's 29th birthday in Oman and Vijay posting images from the same region as further signalling their connection.

Observers cite a combination of on-screen chemistry, frequent joint appearances and mutual public acknowledgements as factors sustaining fan interest. Both performers have so far maintained privacy on the matter, leaving confirmation pending.
