On Friday, Qatar’s official Hajj mission delegation set off for Saudi Arabia as part of ongoing preparations for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage, according to the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
The ministry noted that this departure follows the earlier arrival of several support teams to finalize field arrangements and guarantee that everything is in place for Qatari pilgrims.
Ali bin Sultan Al Misifri, who serves as the Director of the Department of Hajj and Umrah Affairs and the Deputy Head of the Qatari Hajj Mission, indicated that operations will be centralized from its headquarters located in the Al Naseem area of Makkah. This will facilitate coordination with Qatari Hajj campaigns and Saudi authorities, allowing for well-organized services for the pilgrims.
He mentioned that a variety of specialized teams will collaborate throughout the pilgrimage period. These teams encompass religious guidance, medical assistance, logistics, inspections, communications, and technical support to ensure pilgrims are adequately supported during their journey.
As outlined by the ministry, the primary objective of this mission is to assist Qatari pilgrims in performing Hajj securely, comfortably, and without complications. Furthermore, this initiative aligns with the ministry's 2025–2030 strategy aimed at enhancing Hajj and Umrah services and contributing to a better pilgrimage experience for Qatar's citizens and residents.
