Qatar has firmly condemned the recent missile and drone strikes launched by Iran against civilian targets in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), resulting in injuries to three Indian nationals.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar characterized the attack as a blatant breach of the sovereignty of the UAE. The ministry highlighted that such acts significantly threaten the stability and security of the region.
Qatar reiterated its unwavering support and solidarity with the UAE. The country endorsed all initiatives taken by UAE authorities aimed at upholding the nation’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
The statement also raised concerns about the attack on civilian infrastructure and underscored the necessity for peace in the area.
Furthermore, Qatar extended heartfelt wishes for a prompt recovery to all individuals injured in the incident, particularly the three Indian nationals.
