Global star Priyanka Chopra has returned to India to participate in SS Rajamouli’s eagerly awaited film Globetrotter, which also features Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Chopra documented parts of her journey to Hyderabad on Instagram Stories, signalling her readiness for the next production schedule.
In a pre-flight selfie she wrote, "And we're off again, destination exciting," and paid tribute to Celine Dion in an outfit post captioned "Queen always and forever @celinedion." Following touchdown she uploaded a short video showing Hyderabad streets from her car and tagged Mahesh Babu with a laughing emoji.
At Hyderabad airport Chopra was photographed greeting a few people as she arrived in casual attire accompanied by her team. She has been travelling frequently between locations for successive Globetrotter shoots, while the production continues to withhold substantive plot details.
On social platform X, Mahesh Babu recently urged director Rajamouli to honour a November promise to reveal information about the film. Chopra joined the playful banter by teasing possible on-set disclosures, a joke Rajamouli deflected by blaming Mahesh for any potential leaks.
Operating under the working titles SSMB29 and Globetrotter, the project marks the first collaboration among Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra. Chopra is also slated to appear in Citadel Season 2 and will portray a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in The Bluff opposite Karl Urban.
