Post by : Bianca Suleiman

In an innovative move, Parkin Company PJSC, Dubai’s foremost provider of paid public parking services, has secured a management agreement with renowned retailers Spinneys and Waitrose to implement cutting-edge parking solutions at six designated spots in Dubai.

As part of this collaboration, Parkin is tasked with the comprehensive management of these parking facilities, applying its advanced technology and operational know-how to alleviate congestion and enhance the parking experience for shoppers.

Customers patronizing these outlets will benefit from two hours of free parking, after which standard hourly rates will apply. This initiative aims to improve space availability and facilitate easier traffic movement, particularly at high-traffic retail locations.

Each of the six sites will feature Parkin’s cutting-edge parking management technology, including automated entry and exit systems, as well as efficient enforcement mechanisms. Additionally, the Parkin mobile app will be integrated to enable users to manage their parking from their smartphones effortlessly.

Eng. Mohamed Abdulla Al Ali, CEO of Parkin, remarked that this partnership underscores the firm’s dedication to enhancing urban mobility and customer ease. He emphasized that the blend of free parking and smart technology promises a smoother shopping experience across Dubai.

Sunil Kumar, CEO of Spinneys, expressed that the collaboration will greatly enhance accessibility at the brand’s busiest locations. He pointed out that integrating Parkin’s intelligent parking technology will streamline customer traffic, making visits more convenient.

This partnership represents another step in Parkin’s mission to provide customer-focused parking solutions, aligning with Dubai’s ambition for smarter, more sustainable urban transportation infrastructure.
