Post by : Mara Rahim

The 11th edition of the Pre-Owned Boat Show began on Friday at Dubai Creek Marina, located within the Park Hyatt Resort. Running from 31st October to 2nd November 2025, this year’s event takes place under the theme “A Boat for Everyone,” highlighting Dubai’s mission to make boating more inclusive and accessible for all.

The three-day exhibition features over 50 international yacht and boat brands, collectively presenting more than 50 vessels valued at over AED200 million. From elegant luxury yachts to compact family cruisers, the show offers something for every type of boating enthusiast and investor.

This annual event reinforces Dubai’s position as a global hub for marine innovation and trade. It serves as a vital platform connecting local and international manufacturers, brokers, and buyers, contributing to the growth of the emirate’s vibrant maritime sector.

Recent statistics from the Dubai Maritime Authority, part of the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation, show strong industry growth. The number of registered maritime vessels in 2024 reached 7,738, marking a 14.4 percent rise from 2023. Meanwhile, the maritime workforce grew by 22.8 percent, reaching 12,226 crew members—a clear sign of growing confidence in Dubai’s maritime ecosystem.

Dubai’s success in hosting events like this reflects its commitment to developing a sustainable maritime industry. The emirate continues to focus on modern infrastructure, smart technologies, and clean energy solutions, ensuring the long-term sustainability of its marine operations.

The show’s first day drew a large and diverse crowd of investors, families, and marine enthusiasts. Visitors explored the impressive lineup of vessels, engaged with experts, and experienced the latest innovations in yacht design, equipment, and technology, reaffirming the event’s growing international appeal.

This year’s edition goes beyond just showcasing boats. It provides a complete buyer experience, offering access to boat financing, insurance, maintenance, and spare parts. These services are designed to simplify the ownership process and support both seasoned and first-time buyers in making well-informed purchases.

The event plays a key role in promoting Dubai’s marine lifestyle and tourism sector. With its beautiful coastlines, advanced marinas, and year-round sailing conditions, Dubai continues to attract yacht owners and sea lovers from around the world. The show also supports the growth of hospitality and travel sectors connected to marine recreation.

Aligned with Dubai’s sustainability vision, the exhibition highlights green boating solutions. Many exhibitors are promoting innovations in fuel efficiency, low-emission engines, and eco-friendly materials, reinforcing the emirate’s leadership in responsible marine operations.

With an expected attendance of over 5,000 visitors, this year’s Pre-Owned Boat Show is set to break previous records. Industry analysts predict steady growth in Dubai’s pre-owned yacht market, driven by its strong economy, modern infrastructure, and global reputation for innovation.

The 2025 Pre-Owned Boat Show once again demonstrates Dubai’s commitment to marine excellence and its efforts to strengthen the city’s position as a world leader in the maritime and leisure industries. As the event concludes on 2nd November, it celebrates not only the growth of boating culture but also Dubai’s vision of a sustainable and globally connected marine future.
