Significant traffic delays are affecting major routes between Dubai and Sharjah, as per Google Maps traffic data. Commuters are experiencing slow-moving vehicles on primary highways and city roads.
Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) is particularly congested near Business Bay and Al Barsha, where vehicle volumes have surged during busy morning hours.
Al Khail Road (E44) is encountering delays between Meydan and Ras Al Khor due to multiple accidents hindering traffic flow.
Key connecting roads like Hessa Street (D61) and Umm Suqeim Street (D63) are also experiencing stop-and-go conditions for commuters.
For those traveling towards Sharjah, congestion on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) is evident around Dubai South, near Al Maktoum International Airport, and Dubai Production City. Heavy traffic is also present in Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) area.
Conversely, Emirates Road (E611) is largely flowing smoothly; however, slowdowns are reported between Athaib and Al Khawaneej towards Dubai, coupled with several accidents along this route.
Authorities recommend motorists allocate extra time for commutes, keep safe distances, and explore alternate routes as morning rush hour traffic intensifies in Dubai.
