In a heartbreaking incident on Saturday night, a 25-year-old Indian student tragically died in a road accident near Chicago, while six individuals sustained injuries on Interstate 65 in Indiana.

The collision occurred close to Crown Point in Lake County, prompting an immediate response from emergency services after reports of the serious highway crash were made.

Local news outlets confirmed that the deceased has been identified as Navya Gadusu. The Lake County Coroner's Office has reported that she was pronounced dead at 12:16 am on Sunday following the accident.
