This year's kickoff event will highlight the Fujairah International Jumping Championship, taking place at the historic Fujairah Fort arena. Renowned as one of the key equestrian events both regionally and globally, it boasts exceptional standards and robust participation.

Spanning from November 12th to 23rd, the Fujairah International Jumping Championship will feature competitors hailing from various corners of the UAE, the Gulf region, and numerous international participants. The competition expects around 200 riders from 27 nations, including prominent equestrian nations like France, Germany, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia, showcasing the heightening global interest in equestrian sports in Fujairah.

All competitive events will adhere to the regulations of the International Equestrian Federation (FEI). The courses are meticulously crafted to demonstrate the skill, agility, and precision of riders as they navigate their horses through intricate obstacles. This ensures a premier event that aligns with international standards, granting competitors the chance to shine at a world-class level.

At a recent press briefing held at the Fujairah Fort arena, the Higher Organising Committee announced that all arrangements and preparations for the championship have been thoroughly completed. They underscored that this event marks the commencement of the annual Fujairah Equestrian Championships, which continue to expand and draw participants from around the globe. The organisers reiterated their commitment to delivering an exceptional and impeccably managed championship, reflecting the emirate's dedication to equestrian traditions.

In his remarks at the press conference, Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, highlighted the crucial support from H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi. He remarked that the championship embodies the Crown Prince’s vision for advancing equestrian sports in Fujairah and reinforcing the emirate’s standing within the global equestrian community. Dr. Al Zeyoudi asserted that this event provides riders and horse owners an opportunity to engage with some of the finest Arabian and international horse breeds, all while symbolizing the cultural significance of horses in Emirati and Arab heritage, where equestrianism has long held a place of honor.

Furthermore, Dr. Al Zeyoudi extended his thanks to the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, along with the organizing partners, sponsors, and media personnel whose contributions enhance the event's success. Their support plays a pivotal role in ensuring high participation levels and promoting the championships on both national and international stages.

Ali Musbah Al Kaabi, Vice Chairman of the Higher Organising Committee, commended the ongoing success of the Fujairah International Jumping Championship, noting its emergence as a significant destination for riders from the Arab world and beyond. He remarked that the robust international participation fortifies Fujairah’s status as a prominent equestrian hub, both regionally and globally. Additionally, he emphasized that this annual event reflects the emirate’s commitment to hosting prestigious sports competitions that encourage excellence while attracting top-tier talent.

As the press conference concluded, the Higher Organising Committee reaffirmed their dedication to ensuring a safe, well-structured, and supportive atmosphere for all participants. The organisers articulated their aspiration to help riders achieve remarkable performances while honoring the values and traditions of equestrian sport in Fujairah. They also stressed the importance of preserving the cultural heritage associated with horses in the UAE, which remains a vital aspect of the nation's identity.
