His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, emphasized that the UAE's educational framework has emerged as a global exemplar for excellence and resilience, preparing future generations effectively.
He noted that this achievement is guided by the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, alongside the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.
Sheikh Hamdan remarked that the educational system remains committed to creating opportunities regardless of circumstances, underscoring a developmental approach centered on education, its people, and overall quality of life.
During a recent visit to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) with Abdulla Al Basti, Secretary General of The Executive Council of Dubai, he assessed the safe resumption of in-person classes in Dubai's private schools.
Over 150,000 students have returned to more than 450 educational establishments, all implementing robust safety protocols and showing high levels of preparedness.
Sheikh Hamdan reaffirmed that the nation's progress hinges on its people, with education playing a pivotal role in fostering strong individuals and reinforcing national identity, alongside equipping future generations with vital skills.
He also commended the dedication of KHDA personnel, educators, parents, and the broader educational community, praising teachers for nurturing high-quality learning atmospheres under varying conditions.
Aisha Abdulla Miran, Director General of KHDA, briefed him on the advancements of the second year of Dubai’s Education 33 (E33) Strategy during his visit. This initiative aims to construct a future-oriented, student-centric education framework.
Sheikh Hamdan engaged with members of the Dubai Students Council to hear their viewpoints and reviewed 20 major initiatives under the E33 Strategy designed to enhance the educational journey.
These initiatives encompass strengthening the Arabic language and Emirati culture, boosting parental engagement, and nurturing students' life skills. Programs like 'All Rise' and 'Teach in Dubai' are targeted at attracting top-notch educators, while 'Future Astrolabe' assists students in making informed career choices.
The E33 Strategy advocates lifelong learning, aspiring to cultivate confident, skilled, and values-driven students prepared to tackle global challenges and contribute to Dubai's illustrious future.
