The third edition of the Remarkable Emirati Women (REW) event emerged as a significant gathering in Abu Dhabi, welcoming over 700 influential leaders, professionals, and changemakers united by a common goal of fostering impact, purpose, and advancement. This summit, held under the esteemed patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Mother of the Nation, serves as a testament to the increasing prominence of Emirati women in both national and global contexts.
The 2025 theme, Unleash Your Impact, emphasized the transformative role Emirati women are playing in shaping the future of the UAE through leadership, resilience, and community dedication. The event had the honor of welcoming Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the Guest of Honour, who celebrated the achievements of 62 graduates from the second cohort of the Emirati Women Chapter programme—a collaborative initiative featuring the General Women’s Union and PureHealth, aimed at enhancing mentorship, leadership capabilities, and professional growth for Emirati women.
Opening remarks resonated with encouragement and pride, highlighting the overwhelming support provided by UAE’s leadership towards the progression of women. The summit recognized Emirati women not only for their professional undertakings but also for their vital contributions to familial and community strength, reinforcing their essential role in national development.
Central discussions at the event stressed the importance of meaningful impact, advocating for achievable expectations. Topics such as leadership, mental well-being, and sustainability were scrutinized, addressing the challenges faced by women in juggling ambition alongside personal health. This dialogue struck a chord with participants, as it acknowledged that authentic progress stems from consistency, collaboration, and shared responsibilities rather than from an incessant quest for perfection.
The summit also honored the legacy of pioneering Emirati women, recognizing their contributions in overcoming adversities to lay the groundwork for current successes. This continuum linked the achievements of past generations with the aspirations of a new wave of leaders poised to forge ahead with purpose.
Organized by both the General Women’s Union and the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood, in partnership with PureHealth, this event provided a platform for vital dialogue and connection among key stakeholders from government, healthcare, education, business, and social sectors. Panels and discussions focused on leadership, wellbeing, and community contributions.
The ceremony further unveiled the opening for registration for the third cohort of the Emirati Women Chapter programme, aiming to welcome 100 new members. This milestone indicates the ongoing commitment to fostering a robust platform dedicated to empowering Emirati women as leaders, innovators, and advocates for change.
As the summit drew to a close, attendees embodied a sense of confidence and forward momentum. The 2025 edition of Remarkable Emirati Women echoed a profound message: Emirati women are key architects of not just today’s evolution but also the blueprint of the UAE’s upcoming future marked by enduring impact and collective strength.
