Baseer Ali accuses Bigg Boss 19 makers, Salman Khan of bias

Post by : Mina Rahman

Reality TV personality Baseer Ali, who gained popularity with his stint on Bigg Boss 19, has made serious allegations against host Salman Khan and the show’s production team following his unexpected eviction. The former contestant described his elimination as “unfair” and alleged favoritism and selective treatment within the show.

Shock over unexpected eviction

Baseer’s eviction came as a major surprise to both fans and fellow housemates, given his popularity and consistent performance throughout the season. He was widely seen as a potential finalist due to his outspoken personality and strong presence on the show.

Reflecting on his journey inside the Bigg Boss house, Baseer shared that the experience had been transformative, teaching him lessons in acceptance and emotional balance.
“I have learnt the art of acceptance due to the experiences from the reality shows I have been part of,” he said. “Bigg Boss has taught me a lot. When I got evicted, I was in disbelief for a fraction of a second. The day I was evicted, when I woke up, the house where I spent 63 days felt different. I took it as a sign from God. When I was evicted, I just walked out with a smile.”

Despite his calm acceptance, Baseer admitted that his sudden exit was difficult to process. Many viewers expressed disappointment on social media, questioning the voting transparency and hinting that the decision may have been influenced by internal bias.

Baseer raises concerns over bias and silence on key issues

In his candid remarks, Baseer voiced frustration about what he viewed as a lack of accountability from the makers and host Salman Khan regarding certain sensitive incidents inside the house. He referred to comments made by co-contestant Malti Chahar about his sexuality, alleging that the issue was ignored despite being captured on camera.

“What was Bigg Boss doing about it? It was said on camera, and the clip came out from the Bigg Boss team. What did Salman Khan sir or the makers do about it? Did they not want to address it? Is that fair to me?” he questioned.

His statement highlights a growing criticism of the show’s selective disciplinary measures — where some contestants face harsh consequences for minor infractions, while others appear to be shielded from scrutiny.

Claims of selective criticism and inconsistent reactions

Baseer also pointed out instances of what he described as double standards in how the makers handled contestants’ comments. He referred to an earlier episode where he was reprimanded for calling the contestant quality “shit,” while other derogatory remarks made by fellow housemates were left unaddressed.

“When I called the contestant quality shit, it was made into a big issue. Farah Khan blasted me for it, and I was made to look like the bad guy. Gaurav had made a comment to Amaal that you come from such a reputed family. Pointing towards me, he said, ‘Yeh log toh aise hai, don’t we come from good families?’ Nobody addressed these situations. It is very evident they didn’t want to address these things as it worked for them,” Baseer said.

Fans online have echoed similar sentiments, accusing the show of biased editing and selective portrayal of contestants to favor certain narratives. The debate over Bigg Boss’s fairness has long been a recurring theme, with several former contestants from past seasons also alleging unequal treatment.

In conclusion, Baseer criticized the production team for not providing adequate guidance or emotional support during his stay in the house. He claimed that the makers failed to manage negative portrayals and allowed biased perceptions to shape his public image.

“There was absolutely no guidance given to me. It is unfair on the part of the makers to discard everything that was negatively said about me,” he added.

While the Bigg Boss 19 team and Salman Khan have not yet issued any statement regarding Baseer’s allegations, his remarks have reignited the ongoing conversation about reality TV transparency, mental health, and fairness in celebrity-based competitions.

As the controversy unfolds, viewers await an official response from the makers. Meanwhile, Baseer’s fans continue to support him on social media, demanding greater accountability and transparency in how eliminations and on-screen narratives are handled on Bigg Boss.
