Baahubali: The Epic, the remastered and re-edited presentation that merges both original parts into a single narrative, premiered on October 31, 2025, to mark the franchise's tenth anniversary. The release brings together the star cast led by Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in a consolidated screening aimed at both long-time fans and new audiences.
The film began with modest Thursday takings of roughly ₹1.15 crore in India before a pronounced Friday upswing to around ₹9.65 crore, fuelled by fan turnout and franchise momentum. Saturday collections stood at approximately ₹7.25 crore and Sunday at ₹6.30 crore, producing a three-day weekend sum exceeding ₹24 crore in the Hindi-speaking territories.
However, the Monday performance showed a steep fall, with receipts near ₹1.65 crore on Day 4, bringing the four-day India aggregate to about ₹26 crore. This represents a decline of nearly 70% from Sunday, signalling a marked drop in weekday footfalls. Worldwide, the opening weekend is estimated to be close to ₹39.75 crore, supported by regional language versions and international markets.
As a re-edited commemorative release, Baahubali: The Epic leans heavily on nostalgia and spectacle rather than fresh plot elements, making sustained weekday business and positive word-of-mouth essential for its theatrical run.
With new releases arriving and many moviegoers already familiar with the original saga, the coming days — and the first-week totals in particular — will be decisive in determining how long the film can sustain box office momentum.
