Abu Dhabi Welcomes 4th Al Thuraya Exhibition in January 2026

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

Under the esteemed patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Dr Shamma bint Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan, the Al Thuraya Exhibition and Platform is set to take place from 25 to 29 January 2026 at Marina Hall, ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.

Her Highness chairs the Board of Trustees of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Nahyan Cultural and Educational Institutions, as well as the Al Thuraya Platform.

Supported by the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau—part of the Department of Culture and Tourism—alongside ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi and the National Art Expressions Program from the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, this event holds significant cultural and economic value.

The Al Thuraya Exhibition serves as a vital initiative that fosters the development of creative industries and nurtures the cultural economy. It creates an engaging environment for creatives, artists, thought leaders, and entrepreneurs, specifically highlighting the contributions of Emirati women entrepreneurs. This platform allows them to showcase their projects, enhance professional networks, and seek partnership and investment opportunities.

Building on previous successes, this fourth edition will offer a rich program featuring art exhibitions, cultural nights, poetry readings, panel discussions, and specialized workshops focusing on women-led business initiatives alongside prospects for sustainable growth in the cultural and creative fields.

The platform is vital in empowering Emirati women entrepreneurs by promoting their creative work to a broader audience, creating professional networks, and connecting with culture and creativity enthusiasts. It aligns creative outputs with Abu Dhabi’s cultural and tourism goals.

Participants from earlier editions have reported that the Al Thuraya Platform has facilitated meaningful growth and collaborations with both local and global institutions, bolstering their presence in the cultural and economic arenas.

The exhibition adds to Abu Dhabi's vibrant cultural and tourism scene, enhancing cultural tourism, enriching quality of life, and affirming the emirate’s status as a hub for culture and creativity, both regionally and globally.

With robust media backing, the platform spreads its vision of creativity, empowerment, and national identity. The public and those keen on culture and entrepreneurship are encouraged to visit the exhibition and engage in its diverse activities.
