Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Engages HSBC CEO to Strengthen Financial Collaboration

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, convened with Georges Elhedery, Group CEO of HSBC Holdings, to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation within the banking and financial services sector.

The discussions aimed at fostering deeper collaboration and partnerships that bolster economic growth, taking advantage of the UAE's robust and dynamic business landscape, which continues to draw in major global financial institutions.

Highlighted topics included digital innovation, artificial intelligence, research and development, as well as the promotion of smart infrastructure. These areas are critical to advancing the UAE's transition to a knowledge-driven economy and solidifying its status on the global financial stage.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Office of the Crown Prince.
