UAE Faces Warning for Rain and High Humidity

UAE Faces Warning for Rain and High Humidity

Post by : Bianca Suleiman

Dubai: The United Arab Emirates greeted Friday with cool temperatures and cloudy skies, with heavy rainfall noted in Sharjah and Fujairah, as reported by the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).

The weather service has forecasted additional rain today, as convective clouds are expected to develop further over the northern and eastern regions of the country.

Winds are predicted to be light to moderate, with potential mist or fog forming during the early hours, particularly in coastal and low-lying inland areas.

Moreover, the NCM has indicated that humidity could soar to 90%, raising the possibility of dense fog in various locations, including Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman, especially during the late-night and early-morning hours.

Motorists should exercise caution due to anticipated low visibility in affected areas.

Temperatures across the UAE are pleasantly cool for the season, with minimums around the mid-15°C and daytime highs peaking at 26°C. Currently, Dubai registers at approximately 19°C amidst partly cloudy skies.

While wind speeds may approach 35 km/h, the sea remains generally stable, ensuring safe coastal conditions.

Residents are encouraged to remain informed via official weather updates and to take necessary precautions when traveling.
