Trump Rejects Nuclear Strike on Iran, Says US Has Already Hit Hard with Conventional Power

Post by : Saif Nasser

Donald Trump has ruled out the use of nuclear weapons in the ongoing conflict with Iran, stating that the United States has already delivered strong military blows using conventional weapons. His remarks come at a time of rising tensions and continued military actions in the region.

Speaking to reporters, Trump made it clear that he does not support the idea of a nuclear strike. He emphasized that nuclear weapons should not be used and dismissed such suggestions as unnecessary. Instead, he highlighted the effectiveness of conventional military operations carried out by the United States so far.

According to Trump, US forces have already hit a large number of targets inside Iran, significantly weakening its military capabilities. He claimed that key parts of Iran’s defense system, including its navy and air force, have been heavily damaged or destroyed. These actions, he said, were enough to put pressure on Iran without escalating the situation to the level of nuclear warfare.

Trump also stressed that he is not in a hurry to reach a deal with Iran. He said the United States wants a strong and lasting agreement rather than a quick one. While acknowledging that Iran may have tried to rebuild some of its capabilities during a recent ceasefire period, he expressed confidence that the US military can respond quickly if needed.

The US president further pointed out that the strategy includes both military and economic pressure. Measures such as controlling key shipping routes like the Strait of Hormuz have been used to limit Iran’s ability to sell oil, adding to the pressure on its economy.

Despite rejecting nuclear options, Trump warned that military action could continue if Iran does not agree to US demands. He stated that remaining targets could still be hit if necessary, but insisted that conventional weapons are sufficient to achieve US goals.

The situation remains tense, with global leaders closely watching developments. Many have urged both sides to avoid further escalation and seek a peaceful resolution. The risk of a wider conflict in the Middle East continues to be a major concern for the international community.
