Kamal Almaazmi Appointed Abu Dhabi’s Finance Undersecretary by UAE President

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in his role as the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has enacted a resolution appointing His Excellency Kamal Ishaq Almaazmi as the Undersecretary of the Department of Finance in Abu Dhabi.

This new role underscores the leadership’s persistent commitment to fortifying government structures and improving the operational efficiency of the public sector. As the Undersecretary, Almaazmi will facilitate the department’s responsibilities in managing financial policies, supervising official finances, and playing a significant role in the emirate’s fiscal and economic development.

The Department of Finance is pivotal in strategizing and implementing financial policies that underpin Abu Dhabi's sustainable growth and aspirations for long-term development. Following this appointment, the department aims to persist in progressing its goals while upholding superior standards of governance and financial oversight.

This resolution was issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in his capacity as Abu Dhabi's Ruler and comes into effect as stipulated in the decision.
