The UAE has started a special program to help top AI leaders in the government improve their skills. This program aims to support the ongoing growth of smart technology projects in the country.
Only chief AI officers, who were chosen carefully after approval by the UAE Cabinet, can join this two-week training. These leaders were selected because they can handle the fast changes in technology.
Omar Sultan Al Olama, the Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, said this training will help create a culture of positive change. It will also support the country’s big goals and give leaders the tools they need to bring new ideas to life.
The training is done in cooperation with the University of Birmingham in Dubai. It will give the leaders a strong understanding of the latest AI trends, how to manage AI projects, and how AI can be used in different areas. This will help them lead important projects in their own government departments.
Experts and professors from around the world will teach the program. It will also give UAE AI leaders a chance to talk and share ideas with global experts, learning the best ways to use AI.
The course will cover important topics like the ethics of AI, rules for using AI, and technical details. It will also encourage creative thinking and help leaders plan for the future.
The leaders will learn about many parts of AI, such as basic concepts, new developments, governance, generative AI, machine learning, big data, and the economics of AI. They will also study real examples of how AI is used in areas like health, cybersecurity, energy, city planning, government services, and new businesses.
This program is designed to prepare UAE’s AI leaders to guide their teams and push smart technology forward in the country.
