ENOC Group, a major global energy company, and DP World, a leading logistics company, have signed an important agreement to work together on improving emergency and fire response in Dubai. This agreement, called a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), focuses on better training, planning, and teamwork to keep Dubai’s energy and logistics areas safe.
The MoU was signed at ENOC’s headquarters in Dubai by two top leaders: His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, and His Excellency Abdulla Bin Damithan, CEO and Managing Director of DP World GCC.
Leaders Speak About the Partnership
His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi said this agreement is a big step forward in making sure safety comes first. He said they are proud to work with DP World because both companies care deeply about keeping people, property, and the community safe. He believes this partnership will help them respond quickly and well to any emergencies.
His Excellency Abdulla Bin Damithan from DP World said safety is the most important value at their company. He said this agreement shows how much both companies want to create a safe place for their workers and operations. Working together with ENOC will help them build stronger and safer infrastructure to support trade in the region.
What the Agreement Includes
The MoU requires ENOC and DP World to hold a joint emergency exercise every year. This exercise will help improve training, readiness, and how fast they can respond to emergencies. Both companies’ emergency teams will lead these exercises.
The agreement also says they will regularly update their emergency response plans. They will share clear rules for working with outside groups to make sure everyone acts quickly and in a coordinated way when there is an emergency.
ENOC’s Commitment to Safety
ENOC has shown it takes safety very seriously. In 2022, ENOC opened a special Emergency Response Centre in Jebel Ali, working with Dubai Civil Defence. Recently, ENOC’s emergency team members trained at the International Fire Training Centre in the UK. This training helped them improve their skills in handling dangerous materials and fire risks. It also prepared them to do difficult rescue missions and assess fire dangers in the oil and gas industry.
This partnership between ENOC and DP World will make Dubai’s energy and logistics sectors safer and more prepared for emergencies, protecting people, assets, and the community.
