Dubai Police has announced its 2025 Summer Programme for students, which will run from June 30 to July 31. The camp promises one full month of learning, fun, adventure, and leadership training.

The summer programme is organised by the General Department of Anti-Narcotics through the Hemaya International Centre. The theme for this year’s camp is:
“Our Summer: Safety, Happiness, Innovation, and Leadership.”

It is held under the support of Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. The camp is open to all students of every age and nationality.

This special programme is made possible with the help of many important partners such as the Ministry of Education, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), and several government and private organisations. Many departments inside Dubai Police are also working together to make this camp a success.

Bringing Everyone Together

The official announcement took place at the Dubai Police Officers Club during a press conference. Many top officials attended, including Engineer Tariq Al Hashmi from the Ministry of Education, Expert Major General Dr. Muhammad Issa Al Adhab, and other senior officers.

Engineer Al Hashmi said that these summer camps are a great example of teamwork between the Ministry and Dubai Police. He explained that the camps not only teach students new skills but also help them learn the values of the UAE. To make travel easy, the Ministry will provide training centres and 45 buses.

Expert Major General Al Adhab said that Dubai Police wants students to have exciting and useful experiences during the summer break.
“These camps help students learn to follow the law, respect their country, and stay out of trouble,” he added.

Building Future Leaders

Brigadier Khalid bin Muwaiza said it is everyone’s job to help raise smart and responsible students. He said that this year’s summer camp is designed using special teaching methods that help students learn leadership and good values.

In Summer 2024, 1,136 students from 31 nationalities took part. This included 633 boys and 503 girls from 81 schools in 58 areas of Dubai. Out of them, 816 were Emirati students and 320 were expats.

Strong Support from 40 Strategic Partners

Brigadier bin Muwaiza thanked the 40 partners who have helped make the programme possible. He said their support has been key to its success—by providing air-conditioned halls, free transportation, and trained coaches. Many government and Dubai Police departments are part of this year’s efforts.
